Travel Podcast

The One Off Travel Stories podcast is dedicated to unique travel stories. Each episode I chat with someone about a unique and often unbelievable travel story, that one story that they've told countless times to friends and family around the dinner table. Tune in to hear captivating and sometimes unbelievable travel stories and learn about the locations where they happened.

I'm currently in the process of pre-recording the first episodes. If you’ve got a great story, please contact me!

Volunteering in Zambia and Namibia

Microsoft employees from all over the world can join the MySkills portfolio of programs to volunteer their time and talents. Participants support a wide range of individuals and organizations across the world, ranging from start-ups, small and medium businesses to schools, universities, government agencies, and new developers.

I ran two projects, the first in Lusaka, Zambia, which focused on building participants cloud infrastructure technical skills and the second in Windhoek, Namibia, which was focused on training sellers.

Extra Life: Play Games to Change Kids Health

Extra Life is a fundraising program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®. The Extra Life community fundraises year-round to Change Kids’ Health to Change the Future. Donations go to local member hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, and child life services.

The main fundraising event is an annual 24hr gaming marathon. I have been a 10x participant and team leader for the event. I have also volunteered.

Love of Libraries

Visiting libraries around the world is what I would call my travel hobby. I have been to roughly a dozen national libraries to date and many other beautiful libraries in between. Other than posting my pictures and videos of the Libraries I visit on my own Instagram, I also an Instagram account that I use to catalogue beautiful libraries that I want to visit in the future.
